During a trip to Beijing, China, I took images to capture my experience as a tourist. I manipulated these images on my return to read in American English. The English phrases loosely document my disconnected thoughts and feelings as I wandered, very much a foreigner, around the city. The collection of images are combined in a six-page zine, and are featured as cover and internal art in Purdue Fort Wayne's literary magazine, Confluence.
