Grounded in autoethnographic and collaborative arts-based approaches, this peer-reviewed article is published in a special issue of Comunicazioni Sociali. I collaborated with seven women who joined me in this project to examine the rhetorical life of a text.. We created artifacts in response to the central text, the short story “The Yellow Wallpaper,” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. From this arts-based practice, plus conversations about their artifacts, the everyday critic expressed their fragmented interpretations, building an arts-based text. Link to text.
